FiiO K17 Touchscreen Control

SCREEN: The 4" touchscreen features uber popular VU-Meters, large clear controls for the unit as well as quick access to the amazing EQ Presets. 

DAC: The K17 features the flagship AKM DAC chip combination -AK4191 + Dual AK4499EX. Two AK4499EX chips are used, one to handle each channel. The 8-channel to 4-channel LPF design reduces common mode interference, resulting in better channel separation and dynamics. 

FiiO K17 also features a newly designed architecture with fully separated digital/analog portions, which also incorporates the newly developed “DWA ROUTING” technology for an even cleaner audio background and improved resolution.

New Powerful Headphone Amp

AMP: This is FiiO's first implementation of a discrete amplifier circuit for headphones. This discrete circuit is of an OP+ transistor current amplification design, equipped with the classic pair of ON Semiconductor transistors, with enough quality hardware here to really pump out the power.

FiiO K17 is capable of producing high current with low output impedance, perfect for hard to drive planar headphones (and our beautiful flagship, the FT7 headphone).

The result is up to 4000mW output power in balanced mode, nearly double that of the K9 Pro ESS and by any measurement a substantial power output for headphones. This allows it to easily drive various types of full size headphones - planar, high impedance, rare multi-driver models - and operate well below its limits at all times, so it can produce smooth, pleasant, and natural sound.

K17 Extensive 31 Band Parametric EQ Control

EQ: K17's built in EQ is a substantial design. It features an on-board specialist DSP chip, capable of double-precision 64-bit floating-point calculations so you can use the full range of the EQ adjustments with no added distortion or negative effects to your music.

This EQ chip is complemented by a high-performance ES9821Q ADC & customized ultra-low phase noise femtosecond crystal oscillator.

These three components allow the user, in all modes, to utilize the 31-band high-precision lossless Parametric EQ. K17's PEQ is designed to ensure the audio signal is still of the highest studio fidelity even after being processed.

Fine adjustments of audio parameters are possible, allowing for adjustments such as a gain range of +12~-24dB and a Q value range of 0.4dB~128dB. The PEQ allows the user to simulate or correct the frequency response curve as they desire, to suit their taste and gear.

PEQ settings can be easily exported, imported, shared, and saved - making it easy to use the PEQ and correct or simulate various frequency response curves of different headphones to dial in the audio exactly the way you want to hear it.
