The FT1 Pro planar driver has been designed from the ground-up by FIIO, from the diaphragm, to the patented dual-coating, to the conductive trace width, to the fine-tuning of the magnetic circuit, and even the standardized bracket fixings.

Compared to off-the-shelf drivers, the self-developed driver was developed to achieve the goals of being both light in weight and capable of great sound quality.

Weighing a low 374g for a over ear planar magnetic headphone, the FT1 Pro packs a capable large size 95x86mm driver with specs rivaling that of flagship planar headphones, allowing owners to enjoy the large, almost limitless soundstage rarely found among its peers near this price range.

We have created for FiiO FT1 Pro a class-leading 1μm ultra-thin diaphragm which is exceptionally lightweight, allowing it to respond with lightning-quick speed. It faithfully reproduces the subtlest sounds in the ultra-high frequency range, as well as providing exceptional dynamic range.

FiiO FT1 Pro employs a newly self-developed technology for its planar driver – a patented dual-coating system that selectively applies sapphire and aluminum to create a dual-coated driver. These two materials provide an outstanding combination of virtues, being easier to drive and excellent at reproducing fine detail.

Great Fit for Long Term Comfort:

While the FT1 Pro features a large, double-sided magnet planar driver, it only weighs about 374g – making it light, comfortable, and easy to wear for hours on end. The low 20Ω impedance combined with the high sensitivity of 95dB/mW means you can easily get great sound from the FT1 Pro with a wide variety of devices - no need for huge mega amps!

Earcups are large, pads are breathable and the FT1 Pro headband is proven to be easy to adjust, pliable and very comfortable. These are easily every day wear ready, perfect for hours long listening sessions.
